Discover Anatolya

UR 2430. Discover Anatolia, the Short-Term Summer Camp event that has been held in the region since 2004 and was held for the 19th time this year, was held between 30 June and 14 July 2024. 14 students (12 girls, 2 boys) from 9 different countries had the opportunity to see important historical sites and museums in 4 different regions of Turkey. The camp was held as a joint project of Tandoğan, Olimpos, Lara Maltepe, Atakum, İlkadım and Anıttepe Rotary clubs. The students, who were hosted in Ankara between 12-14 July 2024, were welcomed by club members and their families who would host them at their homes on the evening of 12 July 2024. That same evening, the hosting families and students all had dinner together. They met at Anıtkabir on the morning of July 13. Students were informed about the life of our country's founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the founding of Turkey. In the evening club meeting, the flag exchange and certificate ceremony were held.
