Silifke Rotary Club Father & Children's Camp
We established our camping area in Mersin Silifke Mavikent coast with 20 tents. The 15 tents that were built were realized with the participation of father and children from non-Rotarian families and different circles.
Our camp program, with its rich content, has been a very entertaining and educative experience and it has been designed with the purpose of increasing the communication between the father and the children by the seminar.
The first day of the camp, 15 September, the World Clean day by using the advantage of our children to increase the environmental awareness of the information has been transferred from the camp area and the environment was cleaned.
Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, Silifke Firefighting Authority with the participation of our camp and the content of what is required to be done in the event of a fire in both theoretical and practical training has been very useful for our children.
In free time, our participating families evaluated their time by entering the sea with their children in the camp area or fishing.
Our camping area has also been a continuous tea service with intermediate refreshments outside the main meals. In addition to seeing our flags hanged in our camp area, we met with the Soner Sözer of Adana Seyhan Rotary Club who had a pleasant moment and coincidentally showed us the volunteer of the Rotary Family.
In order for our children to have fun at the camp site, we have organized organizations to learn how to draw ropes, jump ropes, darts, rope tying techniques, various educational games about the ball and spend a good time with a few games at the sea.
In the evening we burned our campfire, which is a camp classic, and gathered around and fried marshmallows together with children and fathers.
Saz recital with our night we have added a completely different color to the music, open-air cinema, open-air movies to watch our children were very satisfied.
Last day, the certificate of sausage on the beach before our certificate ceremony was extremely entertaining.
